Background

Graeme Thomas as a founding Director of 3Pillars Asia Pacific and has over 20 years’ experience consulting in a range of strategic, operational and project settings. Graeme specialises in providing services to improve planning, performance measurement and project governance in large organisations. He has particular experience leading and evaluating complex programs.

Graeme was previously the Director of a national team of 25 internal management consultants in Air Force and a Principal Consultant in a large national consulting firm. He has reviewed the portfolio management practices of over 40 companies, managed large transformation programs, and improved project management practices in a wide range of organisations.

Graeme’s PhD thesis on ICT project evaluation was awarded the ACPHIS medal and the best Australian PhD for 2010/2011. Graeme's work has also been recognised by a Chief of Air Force Commendation for outstanding leadership, Prime Minister’s Excellence in Business and Community Partnerships, WA and National Project Management Achievement Awards, a Jacobs Australia Innovation Award, and various client commendations.
